Rocklily Wombats: A Refuge for Wildlife

Nestled on Gundungurra Country near Wombeyan Caves, Rocklily Wombats is a wildlife refuge that rescues, rehabilitates and releases wombats, macropods and other native animals. After habitat on the property and surrounding areas was badly hit by the devastating 2019-20 Black Summer bushfires, property owners Dianna and Warwick Bisset have worked tirelessly to restore and reconnect the landscape.

Dianna and Warwick partnered with GER regional partnership Kanangra-Boyd to Wyangala-Link to make and install more than fifty nest boxes to provide homes for gliders and other hollow-dependant native wildlife on the property.
