Tim is a natural area management specialist with over 20 years’ experience as a senior national park manager in eastern NSW. He is particularly focussed on the importance of community engagement in natural area management, especially around complex and divisive issues.  To this end he gained a post-graduate qualification in Mediation and Conflict Resolution.

He has worked extensively to integrate management actions across tenure boundaries, particularly for pest management. This includes developing systems and reporting processes to improve pest species management at a regional scale.

More recently Tim has worked in volunteer organisations focussing on strategic planning and financial management. He has a well-developed understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing volunteer groups.
