Kate has 10 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector, with a background in communications, digital storytelling, documentary production and community engagement.
Prior to her role with GER, Kate used her communications and storytelling background in various roles across the Pacific, including as communications officer in the International Committee of the Red Cross Regional Delegation in the Pacific. Kate also worked as a freelance communications specialist with not-for-profit and for-purpose organisations to develop and execute strategic digital communications campaigns and projects.
Kate is passionate about conservation and the intersection of health and resilience between our ecosystems and communities. She has a bachelor of interdisciplinary studies in sustainability and a graduate certificate in media arts and production.
