Since 2007, the Great Eastern Ranges (GER) has been working with partners across eastern Australia to connect, protect and regenerate nature and provide dynamic solutions at the vast scale needed to meet our climate, biodiversity and wellbeing challenges.
GER serves as a backbone organisation for connectivity conservation bringing people together to achieve a shared vision and goals across public and private land. Through our partnerships, we support community-led projects that meet local needs and build capacity, while filling the gaps in science, knowledge, resources and collaboration needed to link these efforts across multiple sites to create impact at the whole-of-landscape scale. We also play a vital role in influencing key policy change and advancing best practice by enabling the valuable cross-sharing of experience and expertise through our local and global network of partners.
