GER plays an important role in raising the profile of connectivity conservation and advocating for key policy and legislative change. We also work with decision-makers to collaboratively develop and advance policies that protect and reconnect nature and support large landscape connectivity conservation initiatives.
This includes
- Helping to mainstream connectivity conservation by promoting the science, policy and practice as well as the critical role it plays in maintaining biodiversity, building resilience and integrity, and improving health and wellbeing.
- Working with government at all levels to support, fund and take part in large landscape connectivity conservation initiatives.
- Partnering with a global and national network of experts and practitioners to promote connectivity conservation and share knowledge and lessons learnt.
