As part of our response to the 2019-2020 bushfire crisis, we have partnered with WWF-Australia to restore the health and resilience of key habitat for Koalas, Greater Gliders and other forest-dependent native wildlife.
Through the collaboration, we are rolling out a series of coordinated, complementary projects to restore and relink forest habitat and support the movement of wildlife in ten priority locations in the ranges between southeast Queensland and East Gippsland.
Onground work includes replanting of high nectar-producing shrubs and trees; installation of nestboxes to replace lost tree hollows; management of feral animals; protection and enhancement of forest corridors and research.
This is the first phase of what we hope will become a long-term, strategic collaboration with WWF-Australia.
