Bushfire funding for Shoalhaven landholders

As part of our bushfire recovery program, the Great Eastern Ranges in partnership with CEN/Land for Wildlife is seeking Expressions of Interest from fire-impacted landholders within the Shoalhaven region for funding up to $2,000 (subject to eligibility as below) for efforts to restore and reconnect native habitat.

Funds are available to support a range of on-ground activities including:

1. Installing fencing to protect remnant native vegetation.
2. Controlling weeds to improve the quality and extent of habitat for native wildlife.
3. Planting trees and shrubs to connect patches of native vegetation and create corridors for animals.

Successful EOI’s will be invited to join Land for Wildlife – a voluntary property registration scheme for landholders who want to manage their land for wildlife and biodiversity. For more information on LFW visit: www.cen.org.au/projects/land-for-wildlife.
